How to Adjust a Jump Rope

Keep your elbows close to your body. The rope should touch the ground about one foot-length in front of you. If it’s too long, it will bounce back and hit your shins; if it’s too short, it will stop on your toes.

How to Adjust a Beaded Rope

  • Push rope out of the handle
  • Open knot
  • Remove washer
  • Remove Handle from the rope
  • Remove the amount of beads you need to shorten the rope to your size (You can keep the beads to replace the bottom beads after a while).
  • Pull the rope through the handle
  • Add the wather again
  • Knot and cut the additional rope in the end.

Caution: When heat-sealing the ends to prevent fraying, handle with care to avoid burns or damage.

How to Adjust a PVC Rope

  • Push rope out of the handle
  • Open Clip
  • Pull rope through the clip to your preferred lenght
  • Close Clip

Tip 1: Try taking it off entirely to let the rope 'breathe' before putting it back on. It’s also much easier to handle if the surroundings are warm and not outside in the cold.

Tip 2: Cut the end of the rope slightly longer than needed. This provides a buffer for future adjustments if the rope snaps (usual happens on the handle).
